Warrior academy has been incredible in building my sons confidence and courage. He thoroughly enjoys attending each class and is always keen to progress ready for each grading. We moved to warrior academy from a different group and it was the best decision we made. Having to earn the opportunity to grade rather than it being done on attendance teaches a great lesson in life and a good level of discipline.
My children have been attending classes for almost 2 years and I joined the adult classes just over 10 months ago. We all really enjoy the classes. For my children it has really improved their personal resilience and confidence challenging them both physically and mentally. It inspired me to join too. The classes are fun but still focussed on development. Instructors are brilliant with the little ones and us oldies! The sportsmanship and peer support is second to none. Would definitely recommend.
My grandsons have enjoyed warrior for just over a year now. They struggled with their prepubescent emotions & occasional anger management, even sitting still, active listening & concentration at school. Warrior ethos & trainers have enabled them to practice skills & discipline in dealing with these behaviours, helping also to increase confidence & self worth. Valerie ,administrator ,is so generous & compassionate with her time also. Recommend highly.
My daughter has been coming to the Warrior Academy since she was 7 and has really grown in confidence. The structure and discipline has really helped her transition to secondary school. Despite her not being the most outgoing child she has grown in confidence and is excited to show leadership in class. The instructors at the Warrior Academy are friendly, approachable and always model respect and this is instilled in the children as a core value.
